Allegan Twp., MI, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mrs. Jackson was born March 23, 1949 in Perth, Scotland, the daughter of James and Mary (Macnamara) McCarthy. She had attended Kalamazoo Valley and Lansing Community College, specializing in sign language. She had worked in the Allegan and Holland Public Schools as a substitute teacher and had also been employed at Haworth Inn at Hope College for 10 years. Surviving are her husband, Victor, whom she married November 15, 1969; 4 sons, Steve of Florida, Scott of Arizona, and Mark and Justin, both of Allegan; 1 grandson, Tevon. Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
