age 102, from Allegan, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 in Allegan, Michigan. She was born July 27, 1912 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of John and Sophie Roman. Amelia had been the eldest living member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Amelia loved to read and enjoyed playing games and puzzles. She was very outgoing. Everyone enjoyed being in her presence. Amelia would always greet you with a smile. It was always important to her to say "Thank You!" Amelia is survived by her children: Lorraine Heuring, Andrew (Pennie) Plesnicar; her grandchildren: Lynn (Bob) Stack, James (Chilly) Plesnicar, John (Joan Palmer) Plesnicar, Joseph (Andrea) Plesnicar; and her great-grandchild Andrew. She is preceded in death by her husband Andrew and her brother Ollie. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Allegan. Celebrant is The Reverend Alan P Jorgensen. Inurnment will be in River Grove, Illinois in the spring. Arrangements are being made by Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
