of Hamilton, went to be with his Lord, Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at his home. Mr. Coffey was born April 29, 1937, in Salem Twp., the son of Alvin and Eva (Barber) Coffey. Alvin was a member of the Diamond Springs Wesleyan Church most of his life, he worked for over 30 years for Tiara Yachts in Holland, and farmed in Salem Twp. all of his life. He loved his Lord, family and his farm. Surviving are his wife, Joyce, 5 children; Sandy Coffey of Hamilton, Mark and Nancy, of Buckley, Randy and Chelsea of Falmoth, Daryl and Elizabeth of Hamilton, and Kevin and Rachel of TN, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Keith and Beverly Coffey of Hamilton, 2 sisters, Doris Hunderman of Byron Center, Hilda and Arnold Kragt of Hamilton, his sister-in-law, Marilyn and Jim VanderWeg of Hamilton, brother-in-law, Merle and Pat Simmons of Middleville, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his 6 brothers; Russell, Carl, Clarence, Donald, Howard and Everett, and 3 sisters; Edith Loew, Beulah DeVries and Hazel Pepper. Friends may meet with the family on Friday from 5-8 pm at the Diamond Springs Wesleyan Church, 3562 136th Ave., Hamilton, and from 12 noon till service time at 1 pm Saturday at the Church. Pastor Mark Inman will officiate. Interment Salem Twp. Cemetery, Burnips. Memorials may be made to the Diamond Springs Church Building Fund.
