age 82, of Allegan, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Wings Home in Allegan, Michigan. He was born January 9, 1932 in Niles, Michigan, the son of Fred and Marie (Maxant) Wait. Allen was a longtime member of the Allegan United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Allen worked for Rockwell for 37 years, having retired in 1987. Allen is survived by his beloved wife Rachel; his children: Helen Wait, Debra Dykema, Penny (Tony) Emmons, Scott (Michaella) Wait; his nine grandchildren; his seven great-grandchildren; his brother Roland (Marcia) Wait; and his sister Sandra (Jack) Bale. Friends may join the family for a Memorial Service on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Allegan United Methodist Church, 409 Trowbridge Street, Allegan, Michigan 49010. Pastor Robert Lynch will be officiating. Inurnment is at Hudson Corners, Allegan Township.
