age 84, of Douglas, MI, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002 at the Harbors Health Care Facility in Douglas. Miss Parsons was born June 5, 1918 in Carter County, KY, the daughter of David and Nora (McGuire) Parsons. Surviving are 4 sisters, Faye Carper of Douglas, Bertha Staggs of Olive Hill, KY, Rosie Wilburn of Olive Hill, KY and Rena Campbell of Ray, OH; several nieces and nephews. Friends may meet with the family from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Sparks Funeral Home, Grayson, KY, where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Interment Arms Cemetery, Carter, KY.
