of Allegan, died Monday, April 27, 2015, at the Allegan County Medical Care Community. Alice was born September 29, 1921, in Lawrence, the daughter of the late Roe and Margie (Utter) Johnson. She graduated from Mattawan High School, Class of 1939, and attended Merson Church for many years. Alice held many positions: mom, homemaker, 4-H leader, Special Education Driver, kept books at Stan's Garage, worked at both Jones Speedway and Kalamazoo Speedway, and the Flashes. She spent the last 9 years at the Allegan County Medical Care Community, where she enjoyed bingo until just a few weeks ago. Surviving are her 5 children: Maxine "Micky" and David Williams, Aileene "Elly" and Jack Robinson, Gerry and Richard Pickard, Satnly Dan and Lura Jones, Nel Wright; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 4 brothers: Carl and Marge, Marvin, Rocky and Joann, Rex; her sister: Ruby Hyde; sister-in-law: Betty Johnson; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Stanley; great grandson, Matthew; 3 brothers: Clair, Bob, Don; sister: Bernice Andre. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, April 30, 2015, from 6-8 pm, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10 am. Interment in Mallory Cemetery, Trowbridge Twp. Memorials may be made to the Merson Church, Wings of Hope Hospice , or the Allegan County Medical Care Community.
