Allegan, MI, died Sunday, September 23, 2007 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mrs. Dedrich was born June 4, 1933 in Heath Twp., the daughter of Leo and Helen (Walker) Hitchcock. She had been employed at Delano Printing for many years and at the Allegan Public Schools as a lunchtime supervisor. She had also worked at Sylvia's Place. Surviving are 5 children, Steven and Denise Dedrich of Allegan, Jeff Dedrich of North Carolina, Carl and Sylvia Dedrich of Washington, Lori and Mike Lamb of Fennville and Susan Dedrich of Allegan; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 7 brothers, Don Hitchcock and Jane Hough of Plainwell, Lewis and Laura Hitchcock of Allegan, Bob Hitchcock of Allegan, Floyd and Anne Hitchcock of Hopkins, Bill and Pat Hitchcock of Holland, Ken and Diane Hitchcock of Allegan and Merle and Mary Hitchcock of Cooper; 1 sister, Nancy Gewis and Freddy Flint of Allegan; several nieces, nephews and cousins; 1 aunt, Bea Wendt of Allegan; special friend, Howard Harrington. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, and brother, Gerald. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Rev. G. Patrick White officiating.
