Sparta Twp., MI, and Waverly, TN, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009. Mr. Walton was born Feb. 21, 1942 in Grand Rapids, the son of Clarence and Ruby (Moon) Walton. Surviving are 2 children, Karen (Wes) Visser and Donald Walton, both of Plainwell; 15 grandchildren, Donald A. Walton, Curtis, Kecia, Cody, Nicholas, Cheyenne, Ryan, Joshua, Kyle, Zachariah, Tyler, Kole, Stephenie, Taylor and Tytus Visser; 2 brothers, Wilbur (Carolyn) Walton of Waverly, TN and Gene (Kay) Walton of Howard City. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Fred and Delbert Walton. Friends may meet with the family from 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. Pastor Dan Bowman officiating.
