of Pullman, died Friday, June 10, 2011, at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. Mr. Oisten was born October 14, 1930, in Cheshire Twp., the son of William and Caroline (Belden) Oisten. Al was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, having served in the Korean Conflict. He had worked for Bohn Aluminum in Holland for 32 years retiring in the late 1980's. Surviving are his 4 children; Robin Case, Dorothy and Terry Fuss, James and Jamie Oisten all of Pullman, and Albert Oisten of Allegan, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 brothers; LaVerne and Lucille Oisten and Melvin Oisten all of Allegan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue, and his son, Michael. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, June 17, from 5-7 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. There will be no public funeral service. Private burial will take place in Lee Cemetery, Lee Twp.
