Albert W. Nowakowski, 91 of Monterey Township, Allegan died Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mr. Nowakowski was born April 22, 1913 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Anthony and Pauline (Miller) Nowakowski. He was a farmer and had lived in Monterey Township for 89 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie in 1992. Before her death they enjoyed flea markets and traveling. They had been to 38 states together. He also loved to go to the Todd Farm in Fennville and see the geese. Surviving are 3 children, Linda & Boots Herring of Allegan, Tony Nowakowski of Martin, Diane & Tim Allen of Plainwell; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by all of his brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 Noon until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. Mr. Comer Skinner officiating.
