Monterey Twp., Allegan, MI, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Mrs. Nelsen was born January 6, 1917 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Harry and Agnes (Nelson) Bywater. Surviving are 2 daughters and their husbands, Barbara and Jim Eckardt of Allegan and Judith and Richard Lubben of Des Plaines, IL; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, 1 daughter, Susan, 4 brothers, Tom, John, Harry and Andrew. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 10, at 11:30 a.m. at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL.
