age 80, from Allegan, passed away with his family by his side Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. He was born August 21, 1933 in Allegan, Michigan, the son of Albert and Coral (Myers) Kizer. Robert was a veteran of the Army. He worked at Rockwell for 36 years and was a bus driver for the Allegan Public Schools for 13 years. He was involved with The National Campers and Hikers Association for many years. Robert is survived by his beloved wife Joyce; his children: Robert "Rick" (Shannon) Kizer, Terry Allen Kizer; his grandchildren: Terry's son Taylor; Rick's children: Hailey, Jami, Cathy, Jessie, Teri, Shawn, Joseph, Gene; his sister Darlene Joostberns; his brother David Kizer; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents. Friends may meet with the family on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel from 6-8:00 P.M. The Funeral will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Merson Church, Gobles at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Alan Carson will be officiating. Interment is at Mallory Cemetery, Trowbridge Township.
