She participated in her grandchildren's endeavors whether it was taxidermy, sports, researching a report, teaching them number combinations by playing cribbage with them, taking them on mystery trips or showing them how to preserve fruit and vegetables. She loved to show visitors the newest pictures of her great grandchildren. She leaves a legacy of integrity, grace, dignity, enthusiasm for life, laughter, and how to be a friend and a mentor.
