Joseph Kavanagh Obituary

Joseph Biagio Kavanagh, 43, of Allegan, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 7, 2017. Born February 2, 1974, in Royal Oak, MI. Joe is survived by his wife of 19 years, Erika (Arado) Kavanagh, and their three children, Ellen Jane (14), Joseph Arado (13), and Benjamin Hayes (11). Joe's loving spirit and wonderfully irreverent sense of humor are remembered by many. Joe was a generous husband, father, son, brother, and friend that lived his life to its fullest. He never met a stranger. Joe was passionate about his work and those he worked with and made his company, PAR Logistics, an incredible place to be. He was most happy when surrounded by those he loved, whether that meant cooking, laughing or just being in good company. What Joe treasured most in this world were his family and friends and he lived his life in a way that showed that. His life and spirit will be forever missed. Joe was the son of Thomas Giles Kavanagh and Giuseppa (Cacciottolo) Kavanagh. In addition to his parents and his wife and children, he is survived by his grandmother, Maria Cacciottolo; his siblings, Cristina Eyre (Mark) and Thomas Kavanagh (Melissa); his in-laws, Jack and Mary Lou Arado; siblings-in-law, Chad Arado (Tammy), Bret Arado (Michelle) and Abby Arado (Brendan); and nieces and nephews, Adam and Jordyn Eyre, Ethan, Andrew, and Elizabeth Kavanagh, and Mason and Nolan Arado. Beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive him. Please join the family for an Open House from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm on Sunday, October 15th, at the Silo Banquet Hall (1071 32nd St), Allegan. There will be a Celebration of Life presentation from 2:30-3:30 pm.
