Obituary

Michelle Lynette (Jarvis) Speck, 52, of Holland, MI passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020. Born March 3, 1968 in South Haven, she was the daughter of Steve Jarvis and the late Donna Kohlhoff. Michelle had worked at Yanfeng Automotive Interiors in Holland. She was a talented quilter and enjoyed crocheting beautiful pieces for family and friends. Michelle especially loved to spend time crafting with her grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. Her family was always the focus of her attention and intentions, and, in turn, she was their pillar of strength and comfort which kept them all going.

Michelle is survived by her father, Steve; children, Kendra Harig (fiancé Rich Friedhofer) of Kalamazoo, Brittany Marie Harig, Zachary Rabbers and Jacob Rabbers, all of Holland; her sisters, Crystal (Michael) Brennan of Allegan, Dawn (Jim) LaLonde of Clio and Jo Anne (Mark) Giles of Allegan; and her eight beloved grandchildren, Keyra, Ciera, Natilee, Alexis, Tiana, Emma, Terrance and Logan. In addition to her mother, Donna, she was preceded in death by her infant sister, Jo Anne Jarvis.

Due to recent regulations, Michelle will be laid to rest privately. Anyone who wishes to pay their final respects may visit Gorden Funeral Residence, 528 Trowbridge Street, Allegan on Monday, May 18, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Attendance will be limited to ten visitors at a time in compliance with current orders.

Oh the silly n crazy times we all had down at the Twinkles crazy train store. Dancing, laughing n u n sister tammy picking on me. Oh how I could smell all those goodies (yes I'm sure all fat free lol). The love n care you put into everything. Lately the essential masks. Also the doll u made laila n the one u were creating for christiana. Oh the minute I met you many many years ago I just knew we were family. I can see that smile n laugh you have. Zach has same laugh n smile. So many memories n so many great things I could be here all night. But what everyone needs to know n I'm sure if you knew her you knew she had the biggest heart n a pure soul. Our angel. Always with us sister.
