I recall so many long ago good dinners at the Ewing's home. Their house was the place all the family often gathered and visited. One time Mom (Mary Lou) and I made decorations the ladies literary was sending to the Veteran's home. Another time she was into making frosting roses to decorate cakes. She enjoyed crafts and family very much. In summer we sat on the back porch and visited. In later years when I lived further away, she always made me feel good by giving high praise for the homemade cards and photo news letters I sent. I know she trusted Jesus as her Savior and she is with Him right now and seeing all her loved ones again! No more pain, only joy! The photo was taken at Ewing's granddaughter (my daughter) Alison's 2009 wedding. Don't Duane and Mary Lou look nice!
