Michael Duane Kenitzer

August 5, 1951 – February 24, 2024

We come together to honor and celebrate the life of Michael Duane Kenitzer, who passed away peacefully on February 24, 2024, in Marshall, Michigan. Born on August 5, 1951, in Richland, Washington, Michael's journey was marked by his passionate, wise, and intelligent spirit.

A proud veteran, Michael served his country in the Navy for four years, a testament to his dedication and strength, he pursued and obtained an associate degree in accounting and finance, showcasing his sharp intellect and commitment to personal growth.

Michael's love for life was evident in his joy for singing karaoke and his deep affection for all animals, especially dogs. His warmth and enthusiasm touched many lives. Michael was a lifelong member of the Marcellus VFW Post 4054 in Marcellus, Mi.

He is predeceased by his parents, Dale and Donna (Fredrickson) Kenitzer, and sister Kay Lynn Kenitzer. Michael is survived by his sisters, Denise Kenitzer of Modesto, Ca. and Sandra Kenitzer of Hughson, Ca. Michael's legacy lives on through his daughter, Pamela Kenitzer; grandchildren, Melissa Reigle and Caleb Riggs; and great-grandchildren, May and Tyler Cron.

Michael Duane Kenitzer will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered for the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those who knew him.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
