IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles John
(Charlie) Teravest
June 25, 1974 – July 2, 2024
It is with heavy hearts with which we share the passing of Charles John "Charlie" TerAvest, who left this world peacefully on July 2, 2024, in Allegan, Michigan. Born on June 25, 1974, to his parents William and Sandra (Spaman) TerAvest in Holland, Michigan. Charlie was a man of the outdoors, whose life was as vibrant and spirited as the natural landscapes he so dearly loved. Away from his professional life, Charlie could be found in the tranquility of the woods, tracking deer, searching for antler sheds, and rabbit hunting with such enthusiasm and respect for nature. His passion for the outdoors extended to meticulous lawn care, unearthing Indian artifacts, and valuing each sunrise and sunset. Charlie's loyal beagles and assortment of dogs were constant companions on his adventures. Charlie's dedication as a print operator showcased his analytical mind and handy skillset, which he applied with success throughout his career. He carried not just an appreciation for the craft but also a commitment to excellence, which was recognized by all who worked alongside him. A devoted father, Charlie took great pride in supporting his daughters Caley, Myah, and Samantha at their sports events, encouraging them to embrace life with the same adventurous spirit he embodied. An adventurous soul, Charlie left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will be held dear as a testament to a life truly well-lived, surrounded by the beauty of nature he valued so profoundly.
He is survived by his Wife Leah (Prymula) TerAvest; daughters Caley TerAvest, Myah TerAvest, and Samantha TerAvest; parents William and Sandra (Spaman) TerAvest; grandmother Betty Spaman; siblings Chad and Michelle TerAvest, Sara and Dayton Walker, Cari and Chad Stevens, Michelle (deceased) and Terry Van Patton, Milisa and Kyle Baxter, Aaron and Kaysie Prymula, Jenny and Jeff Kosiorowski; many nieces and nephews; and special remembrance of Charlie's friendship to Ben Schulz.
The family will be having a gathering for all at their home Friday, July 5, 2024, from 5:00pm - 9:00pm. Further instructions can be asked from their oldest daughter at 269-366-5638.
Donations may be made in Charlie's name to Leah TerAvest for their 3 daughters.
