Bernith Leo (Bo) Morgan
(November 4, 1920 - October 1, 2011)
Of Allegan Bo went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 1st, 2011 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility in Allegan, Michigan at the age of 90. He died peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Bernith was born at Merson Corners, Michigan November 4th, 1920 to Bernice and Thomas Morgan. He graduated from Allegan High School and married Donna Jean Mack of Allegan in Amarillo, Texas on May 21st, 1943 where Bo was stationed in the Army Air Corps. Bo raised a family of 5 children and was active in the car retail business for many years, retiring from Farnsworth Chevrolet in 1985. Bo and Donna also worked the Allegan County Fair ticket booths for many years. They were active in the first Baptist Church of Allegan for most of their adult lives. Bo was preceded in death by his loving wife Donna, his daughter Cindy Jo, parents, Bernice and Thomas Morgan, brother Hollis, and sister Maxine Woodhams. He is survived by sons Tom (Suzanne), Tony (Joyce), daughters Michele Berry (Tom) and Phyllis Cornell (Roy/Bub), sister Marion Tanksy, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, 528 Trowbridge St. on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will take place 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Allegan 1290 32nd Street Allegan, Michigan. Rev. Greg Carlson and Rev. Raymond Mayhew will officiate with burial in Mallory Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Allegan County Medical Care Facility 3265 122nd Ave. Allegan, Michigan 49010 or the First Baptist Church.
