Many families elect to have cremation as final disposition instead of burial. What many are unaware of is that it is still possible to have a very traditional visitation and funeral service prior to the cremation. This is just one of many options available if cremation is chosen. Some families elect to have a time for memorialization and remembrance after cremation at either a visitation or memorial service. This can be done at the funeral home, a church, or any number of locations. Planning a memorial for a loved one is a very personal process and we encourage you to take your time and to involve those elements of your loved one’s life that make them unique. Our staff believes that each life is unique and should be celebrated as such.
